Making Internet Marketing Easier!

Do You Twitter?

Over the last few months I’ve been hearing people talking about a website called
Twitter. Many top websites now have a link to their Twitter account. I was reluctant to sign up. A couple of weeks ago I had some free time on my hands, and decided to see what all the fuss was about.

Twitter is a social networking website. It’s often described as being a micro-blog. It allows members to send text messages called ‘tweets’. Tweets have a maximum length of 140 characters, and Twitter allows you enter URL’s in each Tweet.

From what I’ve seen so far, it’s a very simple, powerful site. You can contact people you may not otherwise have access to by ‘following’ them. Other people can ‘follow’ you as well, so it’s a great way to contact others.

I’m new to Twitter, but the report ‘Twitteroid - Mastering Twitter in 10 minutes… or less’ is a great report to get you started. To download this report simply enter your name and email address below.

Use a Blog to Attract More Customers

By Mitch Webb

If you want to establish credibility, attract more customers, or gain a larger audience, creating a blog is an ideal way to accomplish that goal. Search engines will index your blog content, making it easier for potential customers to find you and the products or services you offer. A blog is a simple, cost effective way to create a professional online presence.

What is a Blog?

A blog is a web site in which items are posted on a regular basis and displayed in reverse chronological order that can be viewed in a web browser. The term blog is a shortened form of web log. Creating a blog, maintaining a blog or adding content to a blog is called “blogging”. Individual content on a blog are referred to as “blog posts”. A person who posts content is called a “blogger”. The blog software that allows you to manage your website is called “CMS” or “Content Management System”.

A blog allows you to quickly post your thoughts, interact with other people, and to establish yourself as a subject matter expert. Your blog may contain text, video, images, and links to other web sites. The hardest part of writing a blog is keeping it updated. Fresh content is critical to the success of your blog. It should be updated frequently in order to attract new visitors and to maintain your readers’ attention.

Technorati, which is among the most popular blog search engines, provides current information on both popular searches and tags used to categorize blog postings. Blogs have reshaped the Internet, impacted politics, changed journalism, and enabled millions of people to have a voice and connect with others. It has also created a new affordable low cost method of Internet marketing.

Internet Marketing Tips - 6 Inches Between Your Ears

By Steven Wagenheim

As I am writing this, Tiger Woods is about to begin the final round of the US Open. In spite of recent surgery and great pain, he is the leader going into today’s round and the favorite to take it. It’s no wonder he’s the favorite since he’s won 13 out of 13 tournaments where he was the leader or co-leader going into the final round. While his skills are certainly great, many think the reason that he’s so successful is the 6 inches between his ears…his mental toughness.

Okay, you’re probably wondering what this has to do with Internet marketing. Well, it has more to do with it than you realize. In spite of all my success, I am not the most knowledgeable marketer in the world. I’m certainly not the most gifted writer. As a matter of fact, I consider myself just average in many areas. But there is one area where I consider myself to be above most, maybe above more than most…my mental toughness.

I get up each day believing that I am going to make sales that day. I make sure I make a schedule for each day and stick to it. It doesn’t matter how sick I am or what day it is. For example, today is Father’s Day. I could have easily decided to take the day off, but instead I decided to get a jump on all the folks out there who are taking the day off. I’ll get a piece of the market that they’re leaving behind today.

Some say I’m obsessed. Maybe I am. But nobody can ever say to me that I’m not going to succeed because I don’t have the mindset for business. What about you? Do you get up each day believing that you’re going to have a good day? Do you have a schedule for your day? Do you work even when you don’t feel like working? Do you have the mental toughness to run a successful business?

You don’t have to be the smartest or the best. You just have to believe that you’ll be successful if you put your mind to it.

I’m living proof of that.

To YOUR Success,

Steven Wagenheim

Boost Your Profits By Providing Solutions

The best products to sell online are problem solving products. Top internet marketers identify problems other people have and supply them with a solution. The main reason people search the internet is to find answers to urgent problems. They are looking for alternative ways to save money, make more money, lose weight, stop a foreclosure, or cure health problems.

So, how can you identify the problems people are having and how can you provide a solution? Like anything in life, there’s a bit of effort required, but the rewards can be huge. You need to research and look for trends in your niche.

You can start with keyword research. For those who are unfamiliar with keywords, keywords are the words and phrases people use to find information online. They will normally type these words or phrases into a search engine like Google. Google displays related results for the word or phrase entered. There are some great free tools available to carry out this task. One keyword research tool I use is SEO Book. This tool shows trends based on the latest searches in the search engines.

Another way to find out what problems people have in a niche is to join discussion forums related to your niche. The best way to approach forums is to roll up your sleeves and get involved in discussions taking place on the forums. Become a valuable member by helping others and make sure you adhere to forum rules. There’s no point joining a forum and trying to sell your wares immediately. You need to add value to the forum, help others and build trust. The great thing about forums is everyone there is interested in the same topic. If you have a great product to offer, this is where many of your ideal customers and potential business partners hang out. In most forums you can include your signature in any posts you make, so others in the forum can check out your offers.

You need to demonstrate that you want to become an important part of the forum community. Keep an eye on the
discussions taking place. There are times when you will see comments about a certain problem. This is the time to find out if any good solutions exist. If no one suggests a solution, this is your opportunity to create a new product to solve a problem.
Everywhere you go these days, you’re gonna hear people talking about blogs. There are blogs for nearly every topic there is. Major blogs such as Technorati attract thousands of visitors each day. These blogs have sections dedicated to what people think is important. More often than not, this includes problems people have, and questions about where they can find solutions.

Popular blogs allow you to subscribe to their feeds. By subscribing to a number of feeds for a particular topic, you will more than likely see posts about products that solve common problems. You should check out these products and find out if you can create a better product. Many solutions are expensive, so find out if you can produce a more affordable solutions.

Some products solve part of the problem. It may be a cheap product, but not a total solution. This is where you could add extra value by creating a superior product, and position yourself as someone who provides quality products and service.

When you do create your own product, get testimonials from people who have reviewed your product. You want others to see how your product solved their problem.

Marketers are earning huge incomes solving other peoples problems. They determine what people want, and give it to them. If you have a favorite topic or interest, there’s no reason why you can’t create solutions to help others, and make money doing doing it.

247 Ways To Get Internet Traffic To Your Website Or Blog…

If you’ve got an online presence like a blog or a website, you’ll understand how important traffic is. Even, if you haven’t put together a blog or website yet, keep in mind that when you do, you need to have some idea about how people are going to find it.

Remember:

No Visitors = No Sales!

No Sales = No Business!

It’s the same as having a bricks and mortar business. If you have nobody coming to your store or ringing you, your never going to make any sales or build your business.

You may have put loads of effort and money into creating a great site. Then you realize you’ve now got to find ways to attract people to the site. It doesn’t happen automatically. It can be costly, especially if you decide to get visitors through paid adverting like Pay-Per-Click (PPC) and are unsure about what you’re doing.

However, the size and nature of the internet means there’s many other ways of attracting visitors to your site. Advanced marketers like Justin Michie have been through it all. I bought his “Traffic Tips Report” a while back and he’s now released an updated version. In it, he gives you 247 Traffic Generating Tips he uses. It’s a straight forward report, and i’m sure you’ll find many handy resources you’ve never heard of before.

Its’ definitely given me ideas about how to get traffic without paying an arm and a leg for it.
